A Reflection in Verse

These collected poems were written over a four-decade time span. They vary in rhyme and meter, and there is no recognizable consistent style. Each poem stands by itself - snippets of thoughts in poetic form that hopefully contain some element of beauty.

The title comes from Galatians 6:7 — “As you sow, so shall you reap.” In other words, each and every act has consequences. And not all consequences are predictable.

A number of poems have a warfare theme, but they primarily focus on the consequences of war rather than on warfare itself. Maybe on the next plane of existence, consequences are more predictable.

On this planet, however, they tend to be skewed or bent, like poetic justice. In a world of unintended consequences, it's nice to know that there is some rhyme and reason to it all.
